Singer Songwriter | Folk-Feeling-Pop
Sobi is one of the most exciting new-comer singer and songwriter in Germany. With roots from Sri Lanka, she was born in Madrid, raised in London and currently lives in Hannover. Sobi has performed her song „Crawling“ at the Sofar Sounds in Frankfurt – the video hit more than 25k on Youtube – and have gained attention for her powerful voice and the mix of folk and pop, besides the warm guitar sound. In 2019 Sobi started with her band its first festival-tour in Germany and has played in festivals such as Fusion Festival, OpenOhr, Duckstein and others. A new EP will be released in early 2020.
